| CVE-2023-53523 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: gs_usb: fix time stamp counter initialization If the gs_usb device driver is unloaded (or unbound) before the interface is shut down, the USB stack first calls the struct usb_driver::disconnect and then the struct net_device_ops::ndo_stop callback. In gs_usb_disconnect() all pending bulk URBs are killed, i.e. no more RX'ed CAN frames are send from the USB device to the host. Later in gs_can_close() a reset control message is send to each CAN channel to remove the controller from the CAN bus. In this race window the USB device can still receive CAN frames from the bus and internally queue them to be send to the host. At least in the current version of the candlelight firmware, the queue of received CAN frames is not emptied during the reset command. After loading (or binding) the gs_usb driver, new URBs are submitted during the struct net_device_ops::ndo_open callback and the candlelight firmware starts sending its already queued CAN frames to the host. However, this scenario was not considered when implementing the hardware timestamp function. The cycle counter/time counter infrastructure is set up (gs_usb_timestamp_init()) after the USBs are submitted, resulting in a NULL pointer dereference if timecounter_cyc2time() (via the call chain: gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback() -> gs_usb_set_timestamp() -> gs_usb_skb_set_timestamp()) is called too early. Move the gs_usb_timestamp_init() function before the URBs are submitted to fix this problem. For a comprehensive solution, we need to consider gs_usb devices with more than 1 channel. The cycle counter/time counter infrastructure is setup per channel, but the RX URBs are per device. Once gs_can_open() of _a_ channel has been called, and URBs have been submitted, the gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback() can be called for _all_ available channels, even for channels that are not running, yet. As cycle counter/time counter has not set up, this will again lead to a NULL pointer dereference. Convert the cycle counter/time counter from a "per channel" to a "per device" functionality. Also set it up, before submitting any URBs to the device. Further in gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback(), don't process any URBs for not started CAN channels, only resubmit the URB. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: xsk: Fix crash on regular rq reactivation When the regular rq is reactivated after the XSK socket is closed it could be reading stale cqes which eventually corrupts the rq. This leads to no more traffic being received on the regular rq and a crash on the next close or deactivation of the rq. Kal Cuttler Conely reported this issue as a crash on the release path when the xdpsock sample program is stopped (killed) and restarted in sequence while traffic is running. This patch flushes all cqes when during the rq flush. The cqe flushing is done in the reset state of the rq. mlx5e_rq_to_ready code is moved into the flush function to allow for this. | ||||

| CVE-2022-49961 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Do mark_chain_precision for ARG_CONST_ALLOC_SIZE_OR_ZERO Precision markers need to be propagated whenever we have an ARG_CONST_* style argument, as the verifier cannot consider imprecise scalars to be equivalent for the purposes of states_equal check when such arguments refine the return value (in this case, set mem_size for PTR_TO_MEM). The resultant mem_size for the R0 is derived from the constant value, and if the verifier incorrectly prunes states considering them equivalent where such arguments exist (by seeing that both registers have reg->precise as false in regsafe), we can end up with invalid programs passing the verifier which can do access beyond what should have been the correct mem_size in that explored state. To show a concrete example of the problem: 0000000000000000 <prog>: 0: r2 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 80) 1: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 76) 2: r3 = r1 3: r3 += 4 4: if r3 > r2 goto +18 <LBB5_5> 5: w2 = 0 6: *(u32 *)(r1 + 0) = r2 7: r1 = *(u32 *)(r1 + 0) 8: r2 = 1 9: if w1 == 0 goto +1 <LBB5_3> 10: r2 = -1 0000000000000058 <LBB5_3>: 11: r1 = 0 ll 13: r3 = 0 14: call bpf_ringbuf_reserve 15: if r0 == 0 goto +7 <LBB5_5> 16: r1 = r0 17: r1 += 16777215 18: w2 = 0 19: *(u8 *)(r1 + 0) = r2 20: r1 = r0 21: r2 = 0 22: call bpf_ringbuf_submit 00000000000000b8 <LBB5_5>: 23: w0 = 0 24: exit For the first case, the single line execution's exploration will prune the search at insn 14 for the branch insn 9's second leg as it will be verified first using r2 = -1 (UINT_MAX), while as w1 at insn 9 will always be 0 so at runtime we don't get error for being greater than UINT_MAX/4 from bpf_ringbuf_reserve. The verifier during regsafe just sees reg->precise as false for both r2 registers in both states, hence considers them equal for purposes of states_equal. If we propagated precise markers using the backtracking support, we would use the precise marking to then ensure that old r2 (UINT_MAX) was within the new r2 (1) and this would never be true, so the verification would rightfully fail. The end result is that the out of bounds access at instruction 19 would be permitted without this fix. Note that reg->precise is always set to true when user does not have CAP_BPF (or when subprog count is greater than 1 (i.e. use of any static or global functions)), hence this is only a problem when precision marks need to be explicitly propagated (i.e. privileged users with CAP_BPF). A simplified test case has been included in the next patch to prevent future regressions. | ||||
| CVE-2022-49622 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: avoid skb access on nf_stolen When verdict is NF_STOLEN, the skb might have been freed. When tracing is enabled, this can result in a use-after-free: 1. access to skb->nf_trace 2. access to skb->mark 3. computation of trace id 4. dump of packet payload To avoid 1, keep a cached copy of skb->nf_trace in the trace state struct. Refresh this copy whenever verdict is != STOLEN. Avoid 2 by skipping skb->mark access if verdict is STOLEN. 3 is avoided by precomputing the trace id. Only dump the packet when verdict is not "STOLEN". | ||||

| CVE-2026-87865 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 7.4 High |
| When libcurl uses libssh2 with a hashed `known_hosts` file, an unrelated initial entry can cause host key validation to report a key *mismatch* as a *missing* key to the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87864 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 8.1 High |
| Enabling `CURLOPT_CRLF` causes curl to advertise the raw input byte count in the `IMAP APPEND {N}` literal while transmitting line-ending expanded data. The server reads only $N$ bytes for the payload, causing the remaining overflow bytes to be interpreted and executed as pipelined IMAP commands within the authenticated session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87863 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 8.1 High |
| An authenticated HTTPS origin can supply an HSTS `max-age` value that the parser accepts, but time serialization later fails to process. On 64-bit systems, extreme max-age values compute an absolute expiry within standard time integer limits that exceeds calendar time structure bounds. During cache saves, the original HSTS file is truncated before writing a temporary replacement; when serialization fails, the temporary file is deleted, leaving an empty or partial cache. Because the save error is silently ignored during cleanup, curl exits successfully despite the data loss. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87862 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 8.1 High |
| Importing a `includeSubDomains` parent HSTS entry before a longer-lived child entry, silently drops the child. Consequently, when the parent expires, the child's valid HSTS policy is lost, causing curl to issue unencrypted HTTP requests rather than upgrading to HTTPS. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87861 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 9.1 Critical |
| When using ambient user credentials, an HTTP request directed to one origin may be dispatched over a connection previously authenticated via Negotiate for a different origin, leaving the request's intended credentials unused. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86415 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl's connection cache match function never considers the automatic client certificate option, so a cached, already authenticated Schannel connection can be handed to a transfer that got redirected to a different origin, even though the code explicitly switched off the auto client cert option for that transfer to prevent exactly this. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86414 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 9.1 Critical |
| An HTTP proxy can trick libcurl into sending the origin's credentials (Basic password, or a Negotiate/Kerberos ticket) to the proxy itself, by answering the `CONNECT` tunnel request with 401 `WWW-Authenticate:` instead of the expected 407 `Proxy-Authenticate:`. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86413 | 1 Curl | 1 Curl | 2026-10-30 | 9.1 Critical |
| When using an *ambient user* in a first transfer doing Negotiate authentication and asked to follow redirects, curl could pass on its credential details to an unrelated second origin when asked to redirect there. | ||||
| CVE-2026-114406 | 1 Redhat | 20 Advanced Cluster Security, Agentic Cluster Security Suite, Ai Inference Server and 17 more | 2026-10-30 | 6.8 Medium |
| The system certificate authority (CA) store in Red Hat products, distributed via ca-certificates RPM packages, included multiple root CA certificates of authorities, which signed intermediate CA certificates with weak private keys issued by the eMudhra certificate authority. A man-in-the-middle attacker could use this flaw to issue certificates for arbitrary host names signed by the weak intermediate CA certificates, which would be considered trusted by a TLS/SSL client using system CA store and cause such clients to connect to malicious sites. Due to inability to only distrust specific intermediate certificates in all clients using the system CA store, root CA certificates of authorities that signed weak intermediate CA certificates are being removed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112374 | 1 Fossbilling | 1 Fossbilling | 2026-10-30 | 4.3 Medium |
| FOSSBilling before 0.8.9 contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability in the staff guest login endpoint (POST /api/guest/staff/login) that allows remote attackers to force authentication because checkGuestClientAuthentication() only allowlists client_login and client_create, leaving staff_login without CSRF or Origin validation. Attackers can host an auto-submitting HTML form with attacker-controlled credentials to silently log a victim's browser into the attacker's staff account. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119566 | 1 Prometheus | 1 Prometheus | 2026-10-30 | 4.8 Medium |
| Prometheus through 3.15.1 contains a credential leak vulnerability that allows attackers to capture Azure AD or Google IAM bearer tokens by redirecting remote_write requests to another host. Attackers controlling the remote-write endpoint or a redirecting server can return a 3xx to their host and replay the token, for example to write metrics to the victim's backend. | ||||
