CVE Vendors Products Updated CVSS v3.1
CVE-2022-24999 4 Debian, Openjsf, Qs Project and 1 more 12 Debian Linux, Express, Qs and 9 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
qs before 6.10.3, as used in Express before 4.17.3 and other products, allows attackers to cause a Node process hang for an Express application because an __ proto__ key can be used. In many typical Express use cases, an unauthenticated remote attacker can place the attack payload in the query string of the URL that is used to visit the application, such as a[__proto__]=b&a[__proto__]&a[length]=100000000. The fix was backported to qs 6.9.7, 6.8.3, 6.7.3, 6.6.1, 6.5.3, 6.4.1, 6.3.3, and 6.2.4 (and therefore Express 4.17.3, which has "deps: qs@6.9.7" in its release description, is not vulnerable).
CVE-2022-24805 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
net-snmp provides various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol. Prior to version 5.9.2, a buffer overflow in the handling of the `INDEX` of `NET-SNMP-VACM-MIB` can cause an out-of-bounds memory access. A user with read-only credentials can exploit the issue. Version 5.9.2 contains a patch. Users should use strong SNMPv3 credentials and avoid sharing the credentials. Those who must use SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c should use a complex community string and enhance the protection by restricting access to a given IP address range.
CVE-2022-24807 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2024-08-03 6.5 Medium
net-snmp provides various tools relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol. Prior to version 5.9.2, a malformed OID in a SET request to `SNMP-VIEW-BASED-ACM-MIB::vacmAccessTable` can cause an out-of-bounds memory access. A user with read-write credentials can exploit the issue. Version 5.9.2 contains a patch. Users should use strong SNMPv3 credentials and avoid sharing the credentials. Those who must use SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c should use a complex community string and enhance the protection by restricting access to a given IP address range.
CVE-2022-24723 2 Redhat, Uri.js Project 3 Acm, Jboss Fuse, Uri.js 2024-08-03 5.3 Medium
URI.js is a Javascript URL mutation library. Before version 1.19.9, whitespace characters are not removed from the beginning of the protocol, so URLs are not parsed properly. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.9. Removing leading whitespace from values before passing them to URI.parse can be used as a workaround.
CVE-2022-24450 2 Nats, Redhat 3 Nats Server, Nats Streaming Server, Acm 2024-08-03 8.8 High
NATS nats-server before 2.7.2 has Incorrect Access Control. Any authenticated user can obtain the privileges of the System account by misusing the "dynamically provisioned sandbox accounts" feature.
CVE-2022-23772 4 Debian, Golang, Netapp and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Go, Beegfs Csi Driver and 10 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
Rat.SetString in math/big in Go before 1.16.14 and 1.17.x before 1.17.7 has an overflow that can lead to Uncontrolled Memory Consumption.
CVE-2022-3517 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Minimatch Project and 1 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Minimatch and 6 more 2024-08-03 7.5 High
A vulnerability was found in the minimatch package. This flaw allows a Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) when calling the braceExpand function with specific arguments, resulting in a Denial of Service.
CVE-2022-1962 2 Golang, Redhat 16 Go, Acm, Application Interconnect and 13 more 2024-08-03 5.5 Medium
Uncontrolled recursion in the Parse functions in go/parser before Go 1.17.12 and Go 1.18.4 allow an attacker to cause a panic due to stack exhaustion via deeply nested types or declarations.
CVE-2022-0613 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Uri.js Project 6 Fedora, Acm, Enterprise Linux and 3 more 2024-08-02 6.5 Medium
Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key in NPM urijs prior to 1.19.8.
CVE-2023-52834 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2024-08-02 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: atl1c: Work around the DMA RX overflow issue This is based on alx driver commit 881d0327db37 ("net: alx: Work around the DMA RX overflow issue"). The alx and atl1c drivers had RX overflow error which was why a custom allocator was created to avoid certain addresses. The simpler workaround then created for alx driver, but not for atl1c due to lack of tester. Instead of using a custom allocator, check the allocated skb address and use skb_reserve() to move away from problematic 0x...fc0 address. Tested on AR8131 on Acer 4540.

CVE-2023-52796 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2024-08-02 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvlan: add ipvlan_route_v6_outbound() helper Inspired by syzbot reports using a stack of multiple ipvlan devices. Reduce stack size needed in ipvlan_process_v6_outbound() by moving the flowi6 struct used for the route lookup in an non inlined helper. ipvlan_route_v6_outbound() needs 120 bytes on the stack, immediately reclaimed. Also make sure ipvlan_process_v4_outbound() is not inlined. We might also have to lower MAX_NEST_DEV, because only syzbot uses setups with more than four stacked devices. Currently, the minimum value of MAX_ORDER is 8, the minimum value of PAGE_SIZE is 4096, the corresponding maximum number of groups that can be allocated is: (PAGE_SIZE << MAX_ORDER) / sizeof(struct ext4_new_group_data) ≈ 21845 And the value that is down-aligned to the power of 2 is 16384. Therefore, this value is defined as MAX_RESIZE_BG, and the number of groups added each time does not exceed this value during resizing, and is added multiple times to complete the online resizing. The difference is that the metadata in a flex_bg may be more dispersed.

CVE-2023-52596 2024-08-02 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sysctl: Fix out of bounds access for empty sysctl registers When registering tables to the sysctl subsystem there is a check to see if header is a permanently empty directory (used for mounts). This check evaluates the first element of the ctl_table. This results in an out of bounds evaluation when registering empty directories. The function register_sysctl_mount_point now passes a ctl_table of size 1 instead of size 0. It now relies solely on the type to identify a permanently empty register. Make sure that the ctl_table has at least one element before testing for permanent emptiness.

CVE-2023-52451 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-08-02 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/pseries/memhp: Fix access beyond end of drmem array dlpar_memory_remove_by_index() may access beyond the bounds of the drmem lmb array when the LMB lookup fails to match an entry with the given DRC index. When the search fails, the cursor is left pointing to &drmem_info->lmbs[drmem_info->n_lmbs], which is one element past the last valid entry in the array. The debug message at the end of the function then dereferences this pointer: pr_debug("Failed to hot-remove memory at %llx\n", lmb->base_addr); This was found by inspection and confirmed with KASAN: pseries-hotplug-mem: Attempting to hot-remove LMB, drc index 1234 ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in dlpar_memory+0x298/0x1658 Read of size 8 at addr c000000364e97fd0 by task bash/949 dump_stack_lvl+0xa4/0xfc (unreliable) print_report+0x214/0x63c kasan_report+0x140/0x2e0 __asan_load8+0xa8/0xe0 dlpar_memory+0x298/0x1658 handle_dlpar_errorlog+0x130/0x1d0 dlpar_store+0x18c/0x3e0 kobj_attr_store+0x68/0xa0 sysfs_kf_write+0xc4/0x110 kernfs_fop_write_iter+0x26c/0x390 vfs_write+0x2d4/0x4e0 ksys_write+0xac/0x1a0 system_call_exception+0x268/0x530 system_call_vectored_common+0x15c/0x2ec Allocated by task 1: kasan_save_stack+0x48/0x80 kasan_set_track+0x34/0x50 kasan_save_alloc_info+0x34/0x50 __kasan_kmalloc+0xd0/0x120 __kmalloc+0x8c/0x320 kmalloc_array.constprop.0+0x48/0x5c drmem_init+0x2a0/0x41c do_one_initcall+0xe0/0x5c0 kernel_init_freeable+0x4ec/0x5a0 kernel_init+0x30/0x1e0 ret_from_kernel_user_thread+0x14/0x1c The buggy address belongs to the object at c000000364e80000 which belongs to the cache kmalloc-128k of size 131072 The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of allocated 98256-byte region [c000000364e80000, c000000364e97fd0) ================================================================== pseries-hotplug-mem: Failed to hot-remove memory at 0 Log failed lookups with a separate message and dereference the cursor only when it points to a valid entry.
