Blue Coat Unified Agent before 4.6.2 does not prevent modification of its configuration files when running in local enforcement mode, which allows local administrators to unblock categories or disable the agent via unspecified vectors.
Improper privilege validation vulnerability in COM Interface of Gallagher Command Centre Server allows authenticated unprivileged operators to retrieve sensitive information from the Command Centre Server. This issue affects: Gallagher Command Centre 8.50 versions prior to 8.50.2048 (MR3) ; 8.40 versions prior to 8.40.2063 (MR4); 8.30 versions prior to 8.30.1454 (MR4) ; 8.20 versions prior to 8.20.1291 (MR6); version 8.10 and prior versions.
ASUS Control Center API has a broken access control vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker can call privileged API functions to perform partial system operations or cause partial disrupt of service.
Broken Access Control vulnerability in Dean Oakley's Photospace Gallery plugin <= 2.3.5 at WordPress allows users with subscriber or higher role to change plugin settings.
Configuration of SPI Flash in platforms based on multiple Intel platforms allow a local attacker to alter the behavior of the SPI flash potentially leading to a Denial of Service.
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. The vulnerability impacts Grafana instances with several organizations, and allows a user with Organization Admin permissions in one organization to change the permissions associated with Organization Viewer, Organization Editor and Organization Admin roles in all organizations.
It also allows an Organization Admin to assign or revoke any permissions that they have to any user globally.
This means that any Organization Admin can elevate their own permissions in any organization that they are already a member of, or elevate or restrict the permissions of any other user.
The vulnerability does not allow a user to become a member of an organization that they are not already a member of, or to add any other users to an organization that the current user is not a member of.

D-Link device DIR-820L 1.05B03 is vulnerable to Insecure Permissions.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Solaris product of Oracle Systems (component: NSSwitch). Supported versions that are affected are 10 and 11. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Solaris executes to compromise Oracle Solaris. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Solaris. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.0 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Dell PowerScale OneFS, versions 8.2.0-9.3.0, contains an Improper Handling of Insufficient Permissions vulnerability. An remote malicious user could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to gaining write permissions on read-only files.
Ubiquiti Networks EdgeOS version 1.9.1.1 and prior suffer from an Improper Privilege Management vulnerability due to the lack of validation on the input of the Feature functionality. An attacker with access to an operator (read-only) account and ssh connection to the devices could escalate privileges to admin (root) access in the system.
A CWE-269: Improper Privilege Management vulnerability exists that could allow elevated functionality when guessing credentials. Affected Products: Acti9 PowerTag Link C (A9XELC10-A) (V1.7.5 and prior), Acti9 PowerTag Link C (A9XELC10-B) (V2.12.0 and prior)
A privilege escalation vulnerability in Juniper Networks QFX10K Series, EX9200 Series, MX Series, and PTX Series with Next-Generation Routing Engine (NG-RE), allows a local authenticated high privileged user to access the underlying WRL host. This issue only affects QFX10K Series with NG-RE, EX9200 Series with NG-RE, MX Series with NG-RE and PTX Series with NG-RE; which uses vmhost. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS: 16.1 versions prior to 16.1R7-S6; 16.2 versions prior to 16.2R2-S11; 17.1 versions prior to 17.1R2-S11, 17.1R3; 17.2 versions prior to 17.2R1-S9, 17.2R3-S3; 17.3 versions prior to 17.3R2-S5, 17.3R3-S7; 17.4 versions prior to 17.4R2-S7, 17.4R3; 18.1 versions prior to 18.1R3-S4; 18.2 versions prior to 18.2R3; 18.2X75 versions prior to 18.2X75-D50; 18.3 versions prior to 18.3R2; 18.4 versions prior to 18.4R2. To identify whether the device has NG-RE with vmhost, customer can run the following command: > show vmhost status Compute cluster: rainier-re-cc Compute Node: rainier-re-cn, Online If the "show vmhost status" is not supported, then the device does not have NG-RE with vmhost.
Privilege Escalation vulnerability in McAfee MVISION Endpoint prior to 20.5.0.94 allows a malicious script or program to perform functions that the local executing user has not been granted access to.
A vulnerability in Cisco IOS ROM Monitor (ROMMON) Software for Cisco Catalyst 6800 Series Switches could allow an unauthenticated, local attacker to bypass Cisco Secure Boot validation checks and load a compromised software image on an affected device. The vulnerability is due to the presence of a hidden command in the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by connecting to an affected device via the console, forcing the device into ROMMON mode, and writing a malicious pattern to a specific memory address on the device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass signature validation checks by Cisco Secure Boot technology and load a compromised software image on the affected device. A compromised software image is any software image that has not been digitally signed by Cisco.
Plugin Settings Change leading to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Cloudways Breeze plugin <= 2.0.2 on WordPress allows users with a subscriber or higher user role to execute any of the wp_ajax_* actions in the class Breeze_Configuration which includes the ability to change any of the plugin's settings including CDN setting which could be further used for XSS attack.
Unauthenticated Arbitrary Option Update vulnerability in biplob018's Shortcode Addons plugin <= 3.0.2 at WordPress.
Authenticated WordPress Options Change vulnerability in Biplob018 Shortcode Addons plugin <= 3.1.2 at WordPress.
Cloud Foundry BOSH Backup and Restore CLI, all versions prior to 1.5.0, does not check the authenticity of backup scripts in BOSH. A remote authenticated malicious user can modify the metadata file of a Bosh Backup and Restore job to request extra backup files from different jobs upon restore. The exploited hooks in this metadata script were only maintained in the cfcr-etcd-release, so clusters deployed with the BBR job for etcd in this release are vulnerable.
In Apache Karaf prior to 4.2.0 release, if the sshd service in Karaf is left on so an administrator can manage the running instance, any user with rights to the Karaf console can pivot and read/write any file on the file system to which the Karaf process user has access. This can be locked down a bit by using chroot to change the root directory to protect files outside of the Karaf install directory; it can be further locked down by defining a security manager policy that limits file system access to those directories beneath the Karaf home that are necessary for the system to run. However, this still allows anyone with ssh access to the Karaf process to read and write a large number of files as the Karaf process user.
A security vulnerability that can lead to local privilege escalation has been found in ’guix-daemon’. It affects multi-user setups in which ’guix-daemon’ runs locally. The attack consists in having an unprivileged user spawn a build process, for instance with `guix build`, that makes its build directory world-writable. The user then creates a hardlink to a root-owned file such as /etc/shadow in that build directory. If the user passed the --keep-failed option and the build eventually fails, the daemon changes ownership of the whole build tree, including the hardlink, to the user. At that point, the user has write access to the target file. Versions after and including v0.11.0-3298-g2608e40988, and versions prior to v1.2.0-75109-g94f0312546 are vulnerable.
