The affected product is vulnerable to an improper access control, which may allow an authenticated user to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data.
Matrikon, a subsidary of Honeywell Matrikon OPC Server (all versions) is vulnerable to a condition where a low privileged user allowed to connect to the OPC server to use the functions of the IPersisFile to execute operating system processes with system-level privileges.
A vulnerability has been identified in RAPIDLab 1200 systems / RAPIDPoint 400 systems / RAPIDPoint 500 systems (All versions_without_ use of Siemens Healthineers Informatics products), RAPIDLab 1200 Series (All versions < V3.3 _with_ Siemens Healthineers Informatics products), RAPIDPoint 500 systems (All versions >= V3.0 _with_ Siemens Healthineers Informatics products), RAPIDPoint 500 systems (V2.4.X_with_ Siemens Healthineers Informatics products), RAPIDPoint 500 systems (All versions =< V2.3 _with_ Siemens Healthineers Informatics products), RAPIDPoint 400 systems (All versions _with_ Siemens Healthineers Informatics products). Remote attackers with either local or remote credentialed access to the "Remote View" feature might be able to elevate their privileges, compromising confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system. No special skills or user interaction are required to perform this attack. At the time of advisory publication, no public exploitation of this security vulnerability is known. Siemens Healthineers confirms the security vulnerability and provides mitigations to resolve the security issue.
Improper Access Control vulnerability in web service of Secomea SiteManager allows remote attacker to access the web UI from the internet using the configured credentials. This issue affects: Secomea SiteManager All versions prior to 9.4.620527004 on Hardware.
Improper Access Control vulnerability leading to multiple Authenticated (contributor or higher user role) Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Muneeb's Custom Popup Builder plugin <= 1.3.1 at WordPress.
Cloud Foundry Container Runtime, versions prior to 0.29.0, deploys Kubernetes clusters utilize the same CA (Certificate Authority) to sign and trust certs for ETCD as used by the Kubernetes API. This could allow a user authenticated with a cluster to request a signed certificate leveraging the Kubernetes CSR capability to obtain a credential that could escalate privilege access to ETCD.
A vulnerability in the getSelectedMimeTypesByRole function of the WP Upload Restriction WordPress plugin allows low-level authenticated users to view custom extensions added by administrators. This issue affects versions 2.2.3 and prior.
Zoom On-Premise Meeting Connector MMR before version 4.8.129.20220714 contains an improper access control vulnerability. As a result, a malicious actor can join a meeting which they are authorized to join without appearing to the other participants, can admit themselves into the meeting from the waiting room, and can become host and cause other meeting disruptions.
LRM does not implement authentication or authorization by default. A malicious actor can inject, replay, modify, and/or intercept sensitive data.
A vulnerability in the application policy configuration of the Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to gain unauthorized read access to sensitive data. The vulnerability is due to insufficient application identification. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted traffic to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain unauthorized read access to sensitive data.
A relative path traversal vulnerability has been reported to affect QNAP NAS running QTS and QuTS hero. If exploited, this vulnerability allows attackers to modify files that impact system integrity. QNAP have already fixed this vulnerability in the following versions: QTS 4.5.2.1630 Build 20210406 and later QTS 4.3.6.1663 Build 20210504 and later QTS 4.3.3.1624 Build 20210416 and later QuTS hero h4.5.2.1638 Build 20210414 and later QNAP NAS running QTS 4.5.3 are not affected.
A vulnerability in the boot logic of Cisco Access Points Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute unsigned code at boot time. The vulnerability is due to an improper check that is performed by the area of code that manages system startup processes. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by modifying a specific file that is stored on the system, which would allow the attacker to bypass existing protections. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute unsigned code at boot time and bypass the software image verification check part of the secure boot process of an affected device. Note: To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker would need to have access to the development shell (devshell) on the device.
Unauthenticated Options Change and Content Injection vulnerability in Qube One Redirection for Contact Form 7 plugin <= 2.4.0 at WordPress allows attackers to change options and inject scripts into the footer HTML. Requires an additional extension (plugin) AccessiBe.
a Improper Access Control vulnerability in SUSE Rancher allows users to keep privileges that should have been revoked. This issue affects: SUSE Rancher Rancher versions prior to 2.4.18; Rancher versions prior to 2.5.12; Rancher versions prior to 2.6.3.
The web server of some Hikvision wireless bridge products have an access control vulnerability which can be used to obtain the admin permission. The attacker can exploit the vulnerability by sending crafted messages to the affected devices.
A vulnerability in the user management functionality of Cisco IoT Field Network Director (FND) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to manage user information for users in different domains on an affected system. The vulnerability is due to improper domain access control. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by manipulating JSON payloads to target different domains on an affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to manage user information for users in different domains on an affected system.
A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco SD-WAN Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to gain escalated privileges. This vulnerability is due to improper access control on files within the affected system. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by modifying certain files on the vulnerable device. If successful, the attacker could gain escalated privileges and take actions on the system with the privileges of the root user.
The CMS8000 device does not properly control or sanitize the SSID name of a new Wi-Fi access point. A threat actor could create an SSID with a malicious name, including non-standard characters that, when the device attempts connecting to the malicious SSID, the device can be exploited to write arbitrary files or display incorrect information.
The backend infrastructure shared by multiple mobile device monitoring services does not adequately authenticate or authorize API requests, creating an IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) vulnerability.
A vulnerability in the logic that handles access control to one of the hardware components in Cisco's proprietary Secure Boot implementation could allow an authenticated, local attacker to write a modified firmware image to the component. This vulnerability affects multiple Cisco products that support hardware-based Secure Boot functionality. The vulnerability is due to an improper check on the area of code that manages on-premise updates to a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) part of the Secure Boot hardware implementation. An attacker with elevated privileges and access to the underlying operating system that is running on the affected device could exploit this vulnerability by writing a modified firmware image to the FPGA. A successful exploit could either cause the device to become unusable (and require a hardware replacement) or allow tampering with the Secure Boot verification process, which under some circumstances may allow the attacker to install and boot a malicious software image. An attacker will need to fulfill all the following conditions to attempt to exploit this vulnerability: Have privileged administrative access to the device. Be able to access the underlying operating system running on the device; this can be achieved either by using a supported, documented mechanism or by exploiting another vulnerability that would provide an attacker with such access. Develop or have access to a platform-specific exploit. An attacker attempting to exploit this vulnerability across multiple affected platforms would need to research each one of those platforms and then develop a platform-specific exploit. Although the research process could be reused across different platforms, an exploit developed for a given hardware platform is unlikely to work on a different hardware platform.
