CVSS v3.1 |
cryptography is a package designed to expose cryptographic primitives and recipes to Python developers. Calling `load_pem_pkcs7_certificates` or `load_der_pkcs7_certificates` could lead to a NULL-pointer dereference and segfault. Exploitation of this vulnerability poses a serious risk of Denial of Service (DoS) for any application attempting to deserialize a PKCS7 blob/certificate. The consequences extend to potential disruptions in system availability and stability. This vulnerability has been patched in version 41.0.6.
A null pointer dereference vulnerability in Zyxel ATP series firmware versions from V4.32 through V5.38, USG FLEX series firmware versions from V4.50 through V5.38, USG FLEX 50(W) series firmware versions from V5.20 through V5.38, and USG20(W)-VPN series firmware versions from V5.20 through V5.38 could allow an unauthenticated attacker to cause DoS conditions by sending crafted packets to a vulnerable device.
NVIDIA vGPU software for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager (vGPU plugin), where a malicious user in the guest VM can cause a NULL-pointer dereference, which may lead to denial of service.
NVIDIA vGPU software for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager (vGPU plugin), where a NULL-pointer dereference may lead to denial of service.
Mesa 23.0.4 was discovered to contain a NULL pointer dereference in check_xshm() for the has_error state. NOTE: this is disputed because there is no scenario in which the vulnerability was demonstrated.
NULL pointer dereference in some Intel(R) Arc(TM) Control software before version 1.73.5335.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
NULL pointer dereference in some Intel(R) Arc(TM) & Iris(R) Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows Drviers before version 31.0.101.4255 may allow authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
Null pointer dereference when viewing a specially crafted email in Mutt >1.5.2 <2.2.12
Null pointer dereference when composing from a specially crafted draft message in Mutt >1.5.2 <2.2.12
IEEE 1609.2 dissector crash in Wireshark 4.2.0, 4.0.0 to 4.0.11, and 3.6.0 to 3.6.19 allows denial of service via packet injection or crafted capture file
| A vulnerability in the DHCPv6 relay agent of Cisco NX-OS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper handling of specific fields in a DHCPv6 RELAY-REPLY message. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted DHCPv6 packet to any IPv6 address that is configured on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the dhcp_snoop process to crash and restart multiple times, causing the affected device to reload and resulting in a DoS condition. |
Azure RTOS USBX is a USB host, device, and on-the-go (OTG) embedded stack, that is fully integrated with Azure RTOS ThreadX. An attacker can cause remote code execution due to memory buffer and pointer vulnerabilities in Azure RTOS USBX. The affected components include functions/processes in pictbridge and host class, related to PIMA, storage, CDC ACM, ECM, audio, hub in RTOS v6.2.1 and below. The fixes have been included in USBX release 6.3.0. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
In onNullBinding of TileLifecycleManager.java, there is a possible way to launch an activity from the background due to a missing null check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
An issue was discovered in gpac version 2.3-DEV-rev588-g7edc40fee-master, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, cause a denial of service (DoS), and obtain sensitive information via null pointer deference in gf_dash_setup_period component in media_tools/dash_client.c.
cJSON v1.7.16 was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the function cJSON_SetValuestring at cJSON.c.
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's ksmbd, a high-performance in-kernel SMB server. The specific flaw exists within the handling of SMB2_LOGOFF commands. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a pointer prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create a denial-of-service condition on the system.
| Transmit requests in Xen's virtual network protocol can consist of
multiple parts. While not really useful, except for the initial part
any of them may be of zero length, i.e. carry no data at all. Besides a
certain initial portion of the to be transferred data, these parts are
directly translated into what Linux calls SKB fragments. Such converted
request parts can, when for a particular SKB they are all of length
zero, lead to a de-reference of NULL in core networking code.

An issue was discovered in Fort before 1.6.3. A malicious RPKI repository that descends from a (trusted) Trust Anchor can serve (via rsync or RRDP) an ROA or a Manifest containing a null eContent field. Fort dereferences the pointer without sanitizing it first. Because Fort is an RPKI Relying Party, a crash can lead to Route Origin Validation unavailability, which can lead to compromised routing.
Joda Time v2.12.5 was discovered to contain a NullPointerException via the component org.joda.time.format.PeriodFormat::wordBased(Locale). NOTE: this is disputed by multiple third parties who believe there was not reasonable evidence to determine the existence of a vulnerability. The submission may have been based on a tool that is not sufficiently robust for vulnerability identification.
Twister Antivirus v8.17 is vulnerable to a Denial of Service vulnerability by triggering the 0x80112067, 0x801120CB 0x801120CC 0x80112044, 0x8011204B, 0x8011204F, 0x80112057, 0x8011205B, 0x8011205F, 0x80112063, 0x8011206F, 0x80112073, 0x80112077, 0x80112078, 0x8011207C and 0x80112080 IOCTL codes of the fildds.sys driver.
