CVSS v3.1 |
| NVIDIA Isaac Launchable contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an execution with unnecessary privileges. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, denial of service, information disclosure and data tampering. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iwlwifi: Add missing check for alloc_ordered_workqueue
Add check for the return value of alloc_ordered_workqueue since it may
return NULL pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/tegra: nvdec: Fix dma_alloc_coherent error check
Check for NULL return value with dma_alloc_coherent, in line with
Robin's fix for vic.c in 'drm/tegra: vic: Fix DMA API misuse'. |
| Riello UPS NetMan 208 Application before 1.12 allows cgi-bin/certsupload.cgi /../ directory traversal for file upload with resultant code execution. |
| Turms Server v0.10.0-SNAPSHOT and earlier contains a plaintext password storage vulnerability in the administrator authentication system. The BaseAdminService class caches administrator passwords in plaintext within AdminInfo objects to optimize authentication performance. Upon successful login, raw passwords are stored unencrypted in memory in the rawPassword field. Attackers with local system access can extract these passwords through memory dumps, heap analysis, or debugger attachment, bypassing bcrypt protection. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Tenda F1202 1.2.0.9/1.2.0.14/1.2.0.20. Impacted is an unknown function of the file /etc_ro/shadow of the component Administrative Interface. This manipulation with the input Fireitup causes hard-coded credentials. The attack can only be executed locally. A high degree of complexity is needed for the attack. The exploitability is considered difficult. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability due to insufficient authorization in the SonicWall SMA1000 appliance management console (AMC). |
| IBM Security Verify Access and IBM Security Verify Access Docker 10.0.0.0 through 10.0.9.0 and 11.0.0.0 through 11.0.1.0 could allow a locally authenticated user to escalate their privileges to root due to execution with more privileges than required. |
| Fiber Utils is a collection of common functions created for Fiber. In versions 2.0.0-rc.3 and below, when the system's cryptographic random number generator (crypto/rand) fails, both functions silently fall back to returning predictable UUID values, including the zero UUID "00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000". The vulnerability occurs through two related but distinct failure paths, both ultimately caused by crypto/rand.Read() failures, compromising the security of all Fiber applications using these functions for security-critical operations. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.0-rc.4. |
| Inappropriate implementation in Passwords in Google Chrome prior to 143.0.7499.41 allowed a local attacker to bypass authentication via physical access to the device. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Plaintext password storage in Kotaemon 0.11.0 in the client's localStorage. |
| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From version 3.7.0 to before 4.12.0, fim_alert() implementation does not check whether oldsum->md5 is NULL or not before dereferencing it. A compromised agent can cause a crash of analysisd by sending a specially crafted message to the wazuh manager. This issue has been patched in version 4.12.0. |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) Virtual Appliance Host and Application (VA/SaaS deployments) store a large number of sensitive credentials (database passwords, MySQL root password, SaaS keys, Portainer admin password, etc.) in cleartext files that are world-readable. Any local user - or any process that can read the host filesystem - can retrieve all of these secrets in plain text, leading to credential theft and full compromise of the appliance. The vendor does not consider this to be a security vulnerability as this product "follows a shared responsibility model, where administrators are expected to configure persistent storage encryption." |
| Nagios Log Server versions prior to 2024R2.0.3 contain an execution with unnecessary privileges vulnerability as it runs its embedded Logstash process as the root user. If an attacker is able to compromise the Logstash process - for example by exploiting an insecure plugin, pipeline configuration injection, or a vulnerability in input parsing - the attacker could execute code with root privileges, resulting in full system compromise. The Logstash service has been altered to run as the lower-privileged 'nagios' user to reduce this risk associated with a network-facing service that can accept untrusted input or load third-party components. |
| A vulnerability exists in QuickCMS version 6.8 where sensitive admin credentials are hardcoded in a configuration file and stored in plaintext. This flaw allows attackers with access to the source code or the server file system to retrieve authentication details, potentially leading to privilege escalation.
The vendor was notified early about this vulnerability, but didn't respond with the details of vulnerability or vulnerable version range. Only version 6.8 was tested and confirmed as vulnerable, other versions were not tested and might also be vulnerable. |
| Nagios XI versions prior to 5.8.7 used a temporary directory for Highcharts exports with overly permissive ownership/permissions under the Apache user. Local or co-hosted processes could read/overwrite export artifacts or manipulate paths, risking disclosure or tampering and potential code execution depending on deployment. |
| Nagios XI versions prior to 5.7.3 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in the getprofile.sh helper script. The script performed profile retrieval and initialization routines using insecure file/command handling and insufficient validation of attacker-controlled inputs, and in some deployments executed with elevated privileges. A local attacker with low-level access could exploit these weaknesses to cause the script to execute arbitrary commands or modify privileged files, resulting in privilege escalation. |
| Nagios XI versions prior to 5.5.7 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability in the MRTG graphing component. MRTG-related processes/scripts executed with excessive privileges, allowing a local attacker with limited system access to abuse file/command execution paths or writable resources to gain elevated privileges. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ACPI: PPTT: Fix to avoid sleep in the atomic context when PPTT is absent
Commit 0c80f9e165f8 ("ACPI: PPTT: Leave the table mapped for the runtime usage")
enabled to map PPTT once on the first invocation of acpi_get_pptt() and
never unmapped the same allowing it to be used at runtime with out the
hassle of mapping and unmapping the table. This was needed to fetch LLC
information from the PPTT in the cpuhotplug path which is executed in
the atomic context as the acpi_get_table() might sleep waiting for a
mutex.
However it missed to handle the case when there is no PPTT on the system
which results in acpi_get_pptt() being called from all the secondary
CPUs attempting to fetch the LLC information in the atomic context
without knowing the absence of PPTT resulting in the splat like below:
| BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context at kernel/locking/semaphore.c:164

Update acpi_get_pptt() to consider the fact that PPTT is once checked and
is not available on the system and return NULL avoiding any attempts to
fetch PPTT and thereby avoiding any possible sleep waiting for a mutex
in the atomic context. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
virtiofs: add filesystem context source name check
In certain scenarios, for example, during fuzz testing, the source
name may be NULL, which could lead to a kernel panic. Therefore, an
extra check for the source name should be added. |
