CVSS v3.1 |
| On versions beginning in 7.1.5 to before 7.2.3.1, a DLL hijacking vulnerability exists in the BIG-IP Edge Client for Windows. User interaction and administrative privileges are required to exploit this vulnerability because the victim user needs to run the executable on the system and the attacker requires administrative privileges for modifying the files in the trusted search path. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
|
| In versions beginning with 7.2.2 to before 7.2.3.1, a DLL hijacking vulnerability exists in the BIG-IP Edge Client Windows Installer. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.

The protection bypass vulnerability in DLP for Windows 11.9.x is addressed in version 11.10.0. This allowed a local user to bypass DLP controls when uploading sensitive data from a mapped drive into a web email client. Loading from a local driver was correctly prevented. Versions prior to 11.9 correctly detected and blocked the attempted upload of sensitive data.

| A vulnerability in the Tail-f High Availability Cluster Communications (HCC) function pack of Cisco Crosswork Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) could allow an authenticated, local attacker to elevate privileges to root on an affected device.
This vulnerability exists because a user-controlled search path is used to locate executable files. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by configuring the application in a way that causes a malicious file to be executed. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on an affected device as the root user. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker would need valid credentials on an affected device. |
|
NVIDIA GeForce Experience contains an uncontrolled search path vulnerability in all its client installers, where an attacker with user level privileges may cause the installer to load an arbitrary DLL when the installer is launched. A successful exploit of this vulnerability could lead to escalation of privileges and code execution.
|
| Genymotion Desktop v3.3.2 was discovered to contain a DLL hijacking vulnerability that allows attackers to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code via a crafted DLL. |
| Uncontrolled Search Path Element in Checkmk Agent in Tribe29 Checkmk before 2.1.0p1, before 2.0.0p25 and before 1.6.0p29 on a Checkmk server allows the site user to escalate privileges via a manipulated unixcat executable |
| Infoblox BloxOne Endpoint for Windows through 2.2.7 allows DLL injection that can result in local privilege escalation. |
| Uncontrolled search path element vulnerability exists in pg_ivm versions prior to 1.5.1. When refreshing an IMMV, pg_ivm executes functions without specifying schema names. Under certain conditions, pg_ivm may be tricked to execute unexpected functions from other schemas with the IMMV owner's privilege. If this vulnerability is exploited, an unexpected function provided by an attacker may be executed with the privilege of the materialized view owner. |
| A DLL hijacking vulnerability in Samsung Memory Card & UFD Authentication Utility PC Software before 1.0.1 could allow a local attacker to escalate privileges. (An attacker must already have user privileges on Windows to exploit this vulnerability.) |
| An issue in the Trend Micro Apex One agent could allow an attacker who has previously acquired administrative rights via other means to bypass the protection by using a specifically crafted DLL during a specific update process.
Please note: an attacker must first obtain administrative access on the target system via another method in order to exploit this. |
| An uncontrolled search path element vulnerability in the Trend Micro Apex One Server installer could allow an attacker to achieve a remote code execution state on affected products. |
|
A CWE-427 - Uncontrolled Search Path Element vulnerability exists that could allow an attacker
with a local privileged account to place a specially crafted file on the target machine, which may
give the attacker the ability to execute arbitrary code during the installation process initiated by a
valid user. Affected Products: Easergy Builder Installer (1.7.23 and prior) |
| McAfee Total Protection prior to 16.0.49 allows attackers to elevate user privileges due to DLL sideloading. This could enable a user with lower privileges to execute unauthorized tasks. |
| In CODESYS Development System versions from 3.5.17.0 and prior to 3.5.19.20 a vulnerability allows for execution of binaries from the current working directory in the users context . |
| A vulnerability was reported where through modifying the scan variables, an authenticated user in Tenable products, that has Scan Policy Configuration roles, could manipulate audit policy variables to execute arbitrary commands on credentialed scan targets. |
| ONLYOFFICE Docs through 7.3 on certain Linux distributions allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse libgcc_s.so.1 in the current working directory, which may be any directory in which an ONLYOFFICE document is located. |
| An issue found in UwAmp v.1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1, 3.0.0, 3.0.1, 3.0.2 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted DLL. |
|
An Executable Hijacking condition exists in the
Qualys Cloud Agent for Windows platform in versions before 4.5.3.1. Attackers
may load a malicious copy of a Dependency Link Library (DLL) via a local
attack vector instead of the DLL that the application was expecting, when
processes are running with escalated privileges. This vulnerability
is bounded only to the time of uninstallation and can only be exploited
locally.
At the time of this disclosure, versions before 4.0 are classified as End of
Life.

| A Windows user with basic user authorization can exploit a DLL hijacking attack in SapSetup (Software Installation Program) - version 9.0, resulting in a privilege escalation running code as administrator of the very same Windows PC. A successful attack depends on various preconditions beyond the attackers control.
