| AudioCodes Fax Server and Auto-Attendant IVR appliances versions up to and including 2.6.23 configure the web document root at C:\\F2MAdmin\\F2E with overly permissive file system permissions. Authenticated local users have modify rights on this directory, while the associated web server process runs as NT AUTHORITY\\SYSTEM. As a result, any local user can create or alter server-side scripts within the webroot and then trigger them via HTTP requests, causing arbitrary code to execute with SYSTEM privileges. |
| Rapid7 Appspider Pro versions below 7.5.021, suffer from a broken access control vulnerability in the application's configuration file loading mechanism, whereby an attacker can place files in directories belonging to other users or projects. Affected versions allow standard users to add custom configuration files. These files, which are loaded in alphabetical order, can override or change the settings of the original configuration files, creating a security vulnerability. This issue stems from improper directory access management.
This vulnerability was remediated in version 7.5.021 of the product. |
| An issue in Shirt Pocket's SuperDuper! 3.10 and earlier allow a local attacker to modify the default task template to execute an arbitrary preflight script with root privileges and Full Disk Access, thus bypassing macOS privacy controls. |
| The installation directory of LogStare Collector is configured with incorrect access permissions. A non-administrative user may manipulate files within the installation directory and execute arbitrary code with the administrative privilege. |
| Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From version 4.3.0 to before 4.13.0, a missing ACL on "C:\Program Files (x86)\ossec-agent\authd.pass" exposes the password to all "Authenticated Users" on the local machine. This issue has been patched in version 4.13.0. |
| Velociraptor allows collection of VQL queries packaged into Artifacts from endpoints. These artifacts can be used to do anything and usually run with elevated permissions. To limit access to some dangerous artifact, Velociraptor allows for those to require high permissions like EXECVE to launch.
The Admin.Client.UpdateClientConfig is an artifact used to update the client's configuration. This artifact did not enforce an additional required permission, allowing users with COLLECT_CLIENT permissions (normally given by the "Investigator" role) to collect it from endpoints and update the configuration.
This can lead to arbitrary command execution and endpoint takeover.
To successfully exploit this vulnerability the user must already have access to collect artifacts from the endpoint (i.e. have the COLLECT_CLIENT given typically by the "Investigator' role). |
| KubeVirt is a virtual machine management add-on for Kubernetes. In 1.5.0 and earlier, the permissions granted to the virt-handler service account, such as the ability to update VMI and patch nodes, could be abused to force a VMI migration to an attacker-controlled node. This vulnerability could otherwise allow an attacker to mark all nodes as unschedulable, potentially forcing the migration or creation of privileged pods onto a compromised node. |
| Insecure default permissions in the agent of Ivanti Endpoint Manager before version 2024 SU4 allows a local authenticated attacker to write arbitrary files anywhere on disk |
| Incorrect Execution-Assigned Permissions vulnerability in Apache StreamPark.
This issue affects Apache StreamPark: from 2.1.4 before 2.1.6.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.1.6, which fixes the issue. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Apache DolphinScheduler.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.2.2.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.3.1, which fixes the issue. |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) before Virtual Appliance Host 1.0.735 Application 20.0.1330 allows Insecure Log Permissions V-2022-005. |
| Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) before Virtual Appliance Host 22.0.843 Application 20.0.1923 allows Symbolic Links For Unprivileged File Interaction V-2022-002. |
| An insecure permission vulnerability exists in the Agasta Easytouch+ version 9.3.97 The device allows unauthorized mobile applications to connect via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) without authentication. Once an unauthorized connection is established, legitimate applications are unable to connect, causing a denial of service. The attack requires proximity to the device, making it exploitable from an adjacent network location. |
| Due to insecure file permissions in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform, an attacker who has local access to the system could modify files potentially disrupting operations or cause service downtime hence leading to a high impact on integrity and availability. However, this vulnerability does not disclose any sensitive data. |
| Newforma Info Exchange (NIX) before version 2023.1 by default allows anonymous authentication which allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit additional vulnerabilities that require authentication. |
| In Tenable Agent versions prior to 10.8.5 on a Windows host, it was found that a non-administrative user could execute code with SYSTEM privilege. |
| Mastodon is a free, open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. In versions before 4.4.6, 4.3.14, and 4.2.27, disabling or suspending a user account does not disconnect the account from the streaming API. This allows disabled or suspended accounts to continue receiving real-time updates through existing streaming connections and to establish new streaming connections, even though they cannot interact with other API endpoints. This undermines moderation actions, as administrators expect disabled or suspended accounts to be fully disconnected from the service. This issue has been patched in versions 4.4.6, 4.3.14, and 4.2.27. No known workarounds exist. |
| Denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the office service. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the office service. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Use After Free (UAF) vulnerability in the office service. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect service confidentiality. |
