| A vulnerability was found in Wavlink WN530HG4B M30HG4B_V260724. The impacted element is an unknown function of the file api.cgi. The manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 2026-09-24-841a51c6d5_tclinux.bin is sufficient to resolve this issue. The affected component should be upgraded. The vendor confirms: "We confirm the finding, and it has already been addressed. In the current firmware the api=info&client=app handler no longer builds a shell command: the login script is now invoked through an argument vector (execvp) instead of system(), and the client address is length-limited and null-checked." |
| IBM Guardium Data Protection 12.0, 12.1, and 12.2 could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code due to a buffer overflow. |
| A vulnerability was detected in ggml-org whisper.cpp up to 1.9.4. This affects the function whisper_model_load of the file src/whisper.cpp of the component Model Loader. | In fail2ban 0.10.5 through 1.1.1 before ddd879d, the sshd filter (config/filter.d/sshd.conf) accepts an "on <token>" suffix after the host address. Because OpenSSH logs the offered username verbatim, a remote unauthenticated attacker can use a username such as "x VICTIM-SOURCE-IP-ADDRESS on" to make fail2ban associate failed login attempts with an arbitrary source IP address and ban it (e.g., to block logins from a legitimate user). The default filter mode is affected. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Tiiny-AI PowerInfer up to 8bd56d69906c9d2dba4d3bf6899763401e01a9a4. Impacted is the function gguf_init_from_file of the file ggml.c of the component GGUF Parser. This manipulation of the argument data_offset causes out-of-bounds read. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Linksys E1700 1.0.0.4.003. This vulnerability affects the function ssid1MACFilter of the file /goform/ssid1MACFilter of the component Mac Filter. This manipulation of the argument newap_text_%d causes stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in GPAC up to 26.07.0. The impacted element is the function gf_mx_v of the file utils/os_thread.c of the component MP4Box. | Dell Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) Policy Manager, versions prior to 5.34.00.16, contains an Initialization of a Resource with an Insecure Default vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges, Information tampering, Protection mechanism bypass, and Unauthorized access. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Artifex Ghostscript up to 10.07.0. Affected is the function type1_callsubr of the file devices/vector/gdevpsfx.c of the component Pdfwrite. The manipulation leads to stack-based buffer overflow. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. Upgrading to version 10.08.0 is able to address this issue. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. A solution was implemented: "I've chosen to fix this slightly differently by using the defined macro in the font parsing loop rather than in the callsubr function, because this better matches the pattern of 'normal' usage." |
| A vulnerability has been found in OAID Tengine up to 1.12.0. This vulnerability affects the function get_tm_file_model of the file source/serializer/tmfile/tm2_serializer.c of the component tmfile Model Loader. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, an Electron <webview> guest could enable nodeIntegrationInWorker for its Web Workers even when the unsandboxed embedder had Node.js integration disabled, allowing untrusted guest content to create a Node-enabled worker with more privilege than the embedder granted. Applications that do not enable the <webview> tag or that keep the embedder sandboxed are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: mana: Cap MSI-X vectors to the device MSI-X table size
mana_gd_query_max_resources() sizes gc->num_msix_usable from resp.max_msix
and the CPU count, but never from the device MSI-X table. On a 1792 vCPU
M-series VM that yields 1793 while the table has 1024 entries, and
mana_gd_setup_remaining_irqs() then walks indices 1..1792, running off the
end of the region mapped by msix_map_region():
BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ff8e347f8b99800c

RAX is index 1024 * PCI_MSIX_ENTRY_SIZE, one entry past the table.
msi_insert_desc() does range check the index, but only against the MSI
domain hwsize, which matches the table only for devices on an MSI parent
domain. With a global PCI/MSI domain hwsize is MSI_XA_DOMAIN_SIZE, so
nothing bounds the request.
Cap num_msix_usable with pci_msix_vec_count(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve CCA CPRB length and overflow checks
The xcrb_msg_to_type6cprb_msgx() function lacks proper input
validation, creating security vulnerabilities:
1. Integer overflow after CEIL4 alignment: Signed int variables could
overflow during 4-byte boundary alignment, causing undersized
buffer allocations or incorrect bounds checking.
2. Missing minimum size validation: The CPRBX structure is copied from
userspace without verifying sufficient buffer length. Undersized
buffers cause uninitialized memory access when reading structure
fields like cprbx.cprb_len and cprbx.domain.
3. Arithmetic overflow in sum calculations: Adding control block and
data block sizes could overflow, bypassing size checks and enabling
buffer overflows.
Fix by using size_t for length calculations, adding U32_MAX boundary
checks after alignment, validating minimum control block size before
copying from userspace, and detecting sum calculation overflows. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve EP11 CPRB length and overflow checks
The xcrb_msg_to_type6_ep11cprb_msgx() function lacks proper input
validation, creating security vulnerabilities:
1. Missing minimum size validation: The ep11_cprb structure and
subsequent payload fields (pld_tag, pld_lenfmt) are copied from
userspace without verifying sufficient buffer length.
2. Arithmetic overflow in length calculations: CEIL4 alignment could
overflow, bypassing size checks and enabling buffer overflows.
3. The payload is asn1 encoded but the function just uses a simple c
struct overlay to access some fields of the payload.
Fix by using size_t for length calculations, adding U32_MAX boundary
checks after alignment, and validating minimum request size and
minimum reply size before copying from userspace. Do a very simple
asn1 parsing of the payload up to the function value field. |
