CVE-2023-39953 1 Nextcloud 1 User Oidc 2024-10-03 4.8 Medium
user_oidc provides the OIDC connect user backend for Nextcloud, an open-source cloud platform. Starting in version 1.0.0 and prior to version 1.3.3, missing verification of the issuer would have allowed an attacker to perform a man-in-the-middle attack returning corrupted or known token they also have access to. user_oidc 1.3.3 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2023-38422 1 Walchem 2 Intuition 9, Intuition 9 Firmware 2024-10-03 7.5 High

Saho’s attendance devices ADM100 and ADM-100FP have a vulnerability of missing authentication for critical functions. An unauthenticated remote attacker can execute system commands in partial website URLs to read sensitive device information without permissions.
CVE-2024-4024 1 Gitlab 1 Gitlab 2024-10-03 7.3 High
An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 7.8 before 16.9.6, all versions starting from 16.10 before 16.10.4, all versions starting from 16.11 before 16.11.1. Under certain conditions, an attacker with their Bitbucket account credentials may be able to take over a GitLab account linked to another user's Bitbucket account, if Bitbucket is used as an OAuth 2.0 provider on GitLab.
CVE-2023-40706 1 Opto22 2 Snap Pac S1, Snap Pac S1 Firmware 2024-10-02 8.6 High
There is no limit on the number of login attempts in the web server for the SNAP PAC S1 Firmware version R10.3b. This could allow for a brute-force attack on the built-in web server login.
CVE-2023-40217 2 Python, Redhat 8 Python, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 5 more 2024-10-02 5.3 Medium
An issue was discovered in Python before 3.8.18, 3.9.x before 3.9.18, 3.10.x before 3.10.13, and 3.11.x before 3.11.5. It primarily affects servers (such as HTTP servers) that use TLS client authentication. If a TLS server-side socket is created, receives data into the socket buffer, and then is closed quickly, there is a brief window where the SSLSocket instance will detect the socket as "not connected" and won't initiate a handshake, but buffered data will still be readable from the socket buffer. This data will not be authenticated if the server-side TLS peer is expecting client certificate authentication, and is indistinguishable from valid TLS stream data. Data is limited in size to the amount that will fit in the buffer. (The TLS connection cannot directly be used for data exfiltration because the vulnerable code path requires that the connection be closed on initialization of the SSLSocket.)
CVE-2024-7781 1 Artbees 1 Jupiter X Core 2024-10-02 8.1 High
The Jupiter X Core plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authentication bypass in all versions up to, and including, 4.7.5. This is due to improper authentication via the Social Login widget. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to log in as the first user to have logged in with a social media account, including administrator accounts. Attackers can exploit the vulnerability even if the Social Login element has been disabled, as long as it was previously enabled and used. The vulnerability was partially patched in version 4.7.5, and fully patched in version 4.7.8.
CVE-2023-52947 1 Synology 1 Active Backup For Business Agent 2024-10-02 4 Medium
Missing authentication for critical function vulnerability in logout functionality in Synology Active Backup for Business Agent before 2.6.3-3101 allows local users to logout the client via unspecified vectors. The backup functionality will continue to operate and will not be affected by the logout.
CVE-2023-40585 1 Metal3 1 Ironic-image 2024-10-02 7.3 High
ironic-image is a container image to run OpenStack Ironic as part of Metal³. Prior to version capm3-v1.4.3, if Ironic is not deployed with TLS and it does not have API and Conductor split into separate services, access to the API is not protected by any authentication. Ironic API is also listening in host network. In case the node is not behind a firewall, the API could be accessed by anyone via network without authentication. By default, Ironic API in Metal3 is protected by TLS and basic authentication, so this vulnerability requires operator to configure API without TLS for it to be vulnerable. TLS and authentication however should not be coupled as they are in versions prior to capm3-v1.4.3. A patch exists in versions capm3-v1.4.3 and newer. Some workarounds are available. Either configure TLS for Ironic API (`deploy.sh -t ...`, `IRONIC_TLS_SETUP=true`) or split Ironic API and Conductor via configuration change (old implementation, not recommended). With both workarounds, services are configured with httpd front-end, which has proper authentication configuration in place.
CVE-2023-26271 1 Ibm 1 Guardium Cloud Key Manager 2024-10-02 5.3 Medium
IBM Security Guardium Data Encryption (IBM Guardium Cloud Key Manager (GCKM) 1.10.3)) uses an inadequate account lockout setting that could allow a remote attacker to brute force account credentials. IBM X-Force ID: 248126.
CVE-2023-1083 1 Welotec 5 Tk515l, Tk525l, Tk525u and 2 more 2024-10-02 9.8 Critical

CVE-2023-40170 1 Jupyter 1 Jupyter Server 2024-09-30 4.6 Medium
jupyter-server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. Improper cross-site credential checks on `/files/` URLs could allow exposure of certain file contents, or accessing files when opening untrusted files via "Open image in new tab". This issue has been addressed in commit `87a49272728` which has been included in release `2.7.2`. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade may use the lower performance `--ContentsManager.files_handler_class=jupyter_server.files.handlers.FilesHandler`, which implements the correct checks.
CVE-2024-39364 2024-09-30 6.3 Medium
Advantech ADAM-5630 has built-in commands that can be executed without authenticating the user. These commands allow for restarting the operating system, rebooting the hardware, and stopping the execution. The commands can be sent to a simple HTTP request and are executed by the device automatically, without discrimination of origin or level of privileges of the user sending the commands.
CVE-2024-8310 1 Opwglobal 1 Sitesentinel Firmware 2024-09-30 9.8 Critical
OPW Fuel Management Systems SiteSentinel could allow an attacker to bypass authentication to the server and obtain full admin privileges.
CVE-2024-6981 1 Omntec 1 Proteus Tank Monitoring 2024-09-30 9.8 Critical
OMNTEC Proteus Tank Monitoring OEL8000III Series could allow an attacker to perform administrative actions without proper authentication.
CVE-2023-31132 2 Cacti, Microsoft 2 Cacti, Windows 2024-09-26 7.8 High
Cacti is an open source operational monitoring and fault management framework. Affected versions are subject to a privilege escalation vulnerability. A low-privileged OS user with access to a Windows host where Cacti is installed can create arbitrary PHP files in a web document directory. The user can then execute the PHP files under the security context of SYSTEM. This allows an attacker to escalate privilege from a normal user account to SYSTEM. This issue has been addressed in version 1.2.25. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
