| CVE-2021-33430 | 2 Numpy, Redhat | 2 Numpy, Openstack | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| A Buffer Overflow vulnerability exists in NumPy 1.9.x in the PyArray_NewFromDescr_int function of ctors.c when specifying arrays of large dimensions (over 32) from Python code, which could let a malicious user cause a Denial of Service. NOTE: The vendor does not agree this is a vulneraility; In (very limited) circumstances a user may be able provoke the buffer overflow, the user is most likely already privileged to at least provoke denial of service by exhausting memory. Triggering this further requires the use of uncommon API (complicated structured dtypes), which is very unlikely to be available to an unprivileged user | ||||
| CVE-2021-33203 | 3 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 5 Django, Fedora, Openstack and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.9 Medium |
| Django before 2.2.24, 3.x before 3.1.12, and 3.2.x before 3.2.4 has a potential directory traversal via django.contrib.admindocs. Staff members could use the TemplateDetailView view to check the existence of arbitrary files. Additionally, if (and only if) the default admindocs templates have been customized by application developers to also show file contents, then not only the existence but also the file contents would have been exposed. In other words, there is directory traversal outside of the template root directories. | ||||
| CVE-2021-33198 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 13 Go, Advanced Cluster Security, Container Native Virtualization and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| In Go before 1.15.13 and 1.16.x before 1.16.5, there can be a panic for a large exponent to the math/big.Rat SetString or UnmarshalText method. | ||||
| CVE-2021-33197 | 2 Golang, Redhat | 11 Go, Advanced Cluster Security, Container Native Virtualization and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| In Go before 1.15.13 and 1.16.x before 1.16.5, some configurations of ReverseProxy (from net/http/httputil) result in a situation where an attacker is able to drop arbitrary headers. | ||||
| CVE-2021-33195 | 3 Golang, Netapp, Redhat | 12 Go, Cloud Insights Telegraf Agent, Advanced Cluster Security and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.3 High |
| Go before 1.15.13 and 1.16.x before 1.16.5 has functions for DNS lookups that do not validate replies from DNS servers, and thus a return value may contain an unsafe injection (e.g., XSS) that does not conform to the RFC1035 format. | ||||
| CVE-2021-32760 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linuxfoundation, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Containerd, Openstack and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5 Medium |
| containerd is a container runtime. A bug was found in containerd versions prior to 1.4.8 and 1.5.4 where pulling and extracting a specially-crafted container image can result in Unix file permission changes for existing files in the host’s filesystem. Changes to file permissions can deny access to the expected owner of the file, widen access to others, or set extended bits like setuid, setgid, and sticky. This bug does not directly allow files to be read, modified, or executed without an additional cooperating process. This bug has been fixed in containerd 1.5.4 and 1.4.8. As a workaround, ensure that users only pull images from trusted sources. Linux security modules (LSMs) like SELinux and AppArmor can limit the files potentially affected by this bug through policies and profiles that prevent containerd from interacting with specific files. | ||||
| CVE-2021-32719 | 2 Redhat, Vmware | 2 Openstack, Rabbitmq | 2024-11-21 | 3.1 Low |
| RabbitMQ is a multi-protocol messaging broker. In rabbitmq-server prior to version 3.8.18, when a federation link was displayed in the RabbitMQ management UI via the `rabbitmq_federation_management` plugin, its consumer tag was rendered without proper <script> tag sanitization. This potentially allows for JavaScript code execution in the context of the page. The user must be signed in and have elevated permissions (manage federation upstreams and policies) for this to occur. The vulnerability is patched in RabbitMQ 3.8.18. As a workaround, disable the `rabbitmq_federation_management` plugin and use [CLI tools](https://www.rabbitmq.com/cli.html) instead. | ||||
| CVE-2021-32718 | 2 Redhat, Vmware | 2 Openstack, Rabbitmq | 2024-11-21 | 3.1 Low |
| RabbitMQ is a multi-protocol messaging broker. In rabbitmq-server prior to version 3.8.17, a new user being added via management UI could lead to the user's bane being rendered in a confirmation message without proper `<script>` tag sanitization, potentially allowing for JavaScript code execution in the context of the page. In order for this to occur, the user must be signed in and have elevated permissions (other user management). The vulnerability is patched in RabbitMQ 3.8.17. As a workaround, disable `rabbitmq_management` plugin and use CLI tools for management operations and Prometheus and Grafana for metrics and monitoring. | ||||
| CVE-2021-31918 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openstack | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in tripleo-ansible version as shipped in Red Hat Openstack 16.1. The Ansible log file is readable to all users during stack update and creation. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality. | ||||
| CVE-2021-31542 | 4 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| In Django 2.2 before 2.2.21, 3.1 before 3.1.9, and 3.2 before 3.2.1, MultiPartParser, UploadedFile, and FieldFile allowed directory traversal via uploaded files with suitably crafted file names. | ||||
| CVE-2021-31525 | 3 Fedoraproject, Golang, Redhat | 11 Fedora, Go, Advanced Cluster Security and 8 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| net/http in Go before 1.15.12 and 1.16.x before 1.16.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (panic) via a large header to ReadRequest or ReadResponse. Server, Transport, and Client can each be affected in some configurations. | ||||
| CVE-2021-29923 | 4 Fedoraproject, Golang, Oracle and 1 more | 13 Fedora, Go, Timesten In-memory Database and 10 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| Go before 1.17 does not properly consider extraneous zero characters at the beginning of an IP address octet, which (in some situations) allows attackers to bypass access control that is based on IP addresses, because of unexpected octal interpretation. This affects net.ParseIP and net.ParseCIDR. | ||||
| CVE-2021-29482 | 2 Redhat, Xz Project | 6 Acm, Container Native Virtualization, Openshift Api Data Protection and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| xz is a compression and decompression library focusing on the xz format completely written in Go. The function readUvarint used to read the xz container format may not terminate a loop provide malicous input. The problem has been fixed in release v0.5.8. As a workaround users can limit the size of the compressed file input to a reasonable size for their use case. The standard library had recently the same issue and got the CVE-2020-16845 allocated. | ||||
| CVE-2021-28658 | 4 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| In Django 2.2 before 2.2.20, 3.0 before 3.0.14, and 3.1 before 3.1.8, MultiPartParser allowed directory traversal via uploaded files with suitably crafted file names. Built-in upload handlers were not affected by this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27928 | 5 Debian, Galeracluster, Mariadb and 2 more | 8 Debian Linux, Wsrep, Mariadb and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.2 High |
| A remote code execution issue was discovered in MariaDB 10.2 before 10.2.37, 10.3 before 10.3.28, 10.4 before 10.4.18, and 10.5 before 10.5.9; Percona Server through 2021-03-03; and the wsrep patch through 2021-03-03 for MySQL. An untrusted search path leads to eval injection, in which a database SUPER user can execute OS commands after modifying wsrep_provider and wsrep_notify_cmd. NOTE: this does not affect an Oracle product. | ||||
| CVE-2021-27025 | 3 Fedoraproject, Puppet, Redhat | 8 Fedora, Puppet, Puppet Agent and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was discovered in Puppet Agent where the agent may silently ignore Augeas settings or may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service condition prior to the first 'pluginsync'. | ||||
| CVE-2021-21419 | 3 Eventlet, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Eventlet, Fedora, Openshift and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| Eventlet is a concurrent networking library for Python. A websocket peer may exhaust memory on Eventlet side by sending very large websocket frames. Malicious peer may exhaust memory on Eventlet side by sending highly compressed data frame. A patch in version 0.31.0 restricts websocket frame to reasonable limits. As a workaround, restricting memory usage via OS limits would help against overall machine exhaustion, but there is no workaround to protect Eventlet process. | ||||
| CVE-2021-21240 | 2 Httplib2 Project, Redhat | 2 Httplib2, Openstack | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| httplib2 is a comprehensive HTTP client library for Python. In httplib2 before version 0.19.0, a malicious server which responds with long series of "\xa0" characters in the "www-authenticate" header may cause Denial of Service (CPU burn while parsing header) of the httplib2 client accessing said server. This is fixed in version 0.19.0 which contains a new implementation of auth headers parsing using the pyparsing library. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20270 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Pygments and 1 more | 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Pygments and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
| An infinite loop in SMLLexer in Pygments versions 1.5 to 2.7.3 may lead to denial of service when performing syntax highlighting of a Standard ML (SML) source file, as demonstrated by input that only contains the "exception" keyword. | ||||
| CVE-2021-20267 | 2 Openstack, Redhat | 2 Neutron, Openstack Platform | 2024-11-21 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in openstack-neutron's default Open vSwitch firewall rules. By sending carefully crafted packets, anyone in control of a server instance connected to the virtual switch can impersonate the IPv6 addresses of other systems on the network, resulting in denial of service or in some cases possibly interception of traffic intended for other destinations. Only deployments using the Open vSwitch driver are affected. Source: OpenStack project. Versions before openstack-neutron 15.3.3, openstack-neutron 16.3.1 and openstack-neutron 17.1.1 are affected. | ||||
