A flaw was found in RPC request using gfs3_mknod_req supported by glusterfs server. An authenticated attacker could use this flaw to write files to an arbitrary location via path traversal and execute arbitrary code on a glusterfs server node.
CVE-2018-10923 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.1 High
It was found that the "mknod" call derived from mknod(2) can create files pointing to devices on a glusterfs server node. An authenticated attacker could use this to create an arbitrary device and read data from any device attached to the glusterfs server node.
CVE-2018-10914 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
It was found that an attacker could issue a xattr request via glusterfs FUSE to cause gluster brick process to crash which will result in a remote denial of service. If gluster multiplexing is enabled this will result in a crash of multiple bricks and gluster volumes.
CVE-2018-10913 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
An information disclosure vulnerability was discovered in glusterfs server. An attacker could issue a xattr request via glusterfs FUSE to determine the existence of any file.
CVE-2018-10911 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 9 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 6 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the way dic_unserialize function of glusterfs does not handle negative key length values. An attacker could use this flaw to read memory from other locations into the stored dict value.
CVE-2018-10907 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
It was found that glusterfs server is vulnerable to multiple stack based buffer overflows due to functions in server-rpc-fopc.c allocating fixed size buffers using 'alloca(3)'. An authenticated attacker could exploit this by mounting a gluster volume and sending a string longer that the fixed buffer size to cause crash or potential code execution.
CVE-2018-10904 4 Debian, Gluster, Opensuse and 1 more 7 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Leap and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
It was found that glusterfs server does not properly sanitize file paths in the "trusted.io-stats-dump" extended attribute which is used by the "debug/io-stats" translator. Attacker can use this flaw to create files and execute arbitrary code. To exploit this attacker would require sufficient access to modify the extended attributes of files on a gluster volume.
CVE-2018-10858 4 Canonical, Debian, Redhat and 1 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 7 more 2024-11-21 N/A
A heap-buffer overflow was found in the way samba clients processed extra long filename in a directory listing. A malicious samba server could use this flaw to cause arbitrary code execution on a samba client. Samba versions before 4.6.16, 4.7.9 and 4.8.4 are vulnerable.
CVE-2018-10841 3 Debian, Gluster, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Glusterfs, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
glusterfs is vulnerable to privilege escalation on gluster server nodes. An authenticated gluster client via TLS could use gluster cli with --remote-host command to add it self to trusted storage pool and perform privileged gluster operations like adding other machines to trusted storage pool, start, stop, and delete volumes.
CVE-2018-10549 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 2 more 2024-11-21 N/A
An issue was discovered in PHP before 5.6.36, 7.0.x before 7.0.30, 7.1.x before 7.1.17, and 7.2.x before 7.2.5. exif_read_data in ext/exif/exif.c has an out-of-bounds read for crafted JPEG data because exif_iif_add_value mishandles the case of a MakerNote that lacks a final '\0' character.
CVE-2018-10548 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 2 more 2024-11-21 N/A
An issue was discovered in PHP before 5.6.36, 7.0.x before 7.0.30, 7.1.x before 7.1.17, and 7.2.x before 7.2.5. ext/ldap/ldap.c allows remote LDAP servers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and application crash) because of mishandling of the ldap_get_dn return value.
CVE-2018-10547 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 3 more 2024-11-21 N/A
An issue was discovered in ext/phar/phar_object.c in PHP before 5.6.36, 7.0.x before 7.0.30, 7.1.x before 7.1.17, and 7.2.x before 7.2.5. There is Reflected XSS on the PHAR 403 and 404 error pages via request data of a request for a .phar file. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2018-5712.
CVE-2018-10546 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 2 more 2024-11-21 N/A
An issue was discovered in PHP before 5.6.36, 7.0.x before 7.0.30, 7.1.x before 7.1.17, and 7.2.x before 7.2.5. An infinite loop exists in ext/iconv/iconv.c because the iconv stream filter does not reject invalid multibyte sequences.
CVE-2018-10545 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Storage Automation Store and 2 more 2024-11-21 N/A
An issue was discovered in PHP before 5.6.35, 7.0.x before 7.0.29, 7.1.x before 7.1.16, and 7.2.x before 7.2.4. Dumpable FPM child processes allow bypassing opcache access controls because fpm_unix.c makes a PR_SET_DUMPABLE prctl call, allowing one user (in a multiuser environment) to obtain sensitive information from the process memory of a second user's PHP applications by running gcore on the PID of the PHP-FPM worker process.
CVE-2017-9120 3 Netapp, Php, Redhat 3 Storage Automation Store, Php, Rhel Software Collections 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
PHP 7.x through 7.1.5 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (buffer overflow and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a long string because of an Integer overflow in mysqli_real_escape_string.
CVE-2017-9118 3 Netapp, Php, Redhat 3 Storage Automation Store, Php, Rhel Software Collections 2024-11-21 7.5 High
PHP 7.1.5 has an Out of bounds access in php_pcre_replace_impl via a crafted preg_replace call.
CVE-2017-7658 6 Debian, Eclipse, Hp and 3 more 21 Debian Linux, Jetty, Xp P9000 and 18 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
In Eclipse Jetty Server, versions 9.2.x and older, 9.3.x (all non HTTP/1.x configurations), and 9.4.x (all HTTP/1.x configurations), when presented with two content-lengths headers, Jetty ignored the second. When presented with a content-length and a chunked encoding header, the content-length was ignored (as per RFC 2616). If an intermediary decided on the shorter length, but still passed on the longer body, then body content could be interpreted by Jetty as a pipelined request. If the intermediary was imposing authorization, the fake pipelined request would bypass that authorization.
CVE-2017-7481 3 Canonical, Debian, Redhat 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Ansible Engine and 11 more 2024-11-21 9.8 Critical
Ansible before versions 2.3.1.0 and 2.4.0.0 fails to properly mark lookup-plugin results as unsafe. If an attacker could control the results of lookup() calls, they could inject Unicode strings to be parsed by the jinja2 templating system, resulting in code execution. By default, the jinja2 templating language is now marked as 'unsafe' and is not evaluated.
CVE-2017-7466 1 Redhat 6 Ansible, Openshift, Openstack and 3 more 2024-11-21 N/A
Ansible before version 2.3 has an input validation vulnerability in the handling of data sent from client systems. An attacker with control over a client system being managed by Ansible, and the ability to send facts back to the Ansible server, could use this flaw to execute arbitrary code on the Ansible server using the Ansible server privileges.
